Yes. We feel it’s important that you train from a familiar platform.
The course takes place at our facility in Immokalee, Florida. Google maps will take you right there. For US based students, the facility is serviced by Immokalee Regional Airport and Southwest Florida International Airport. Overseas students should look at arriving in to either Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport or Miami International Airport.
The course price includes accommodation and lunch. Your accommodation is booked for the night BEFORE the course starts and the night the course ends. So, for a 7-day course, your accommodation would include 8 nights.
The accommodation has fully functioning kitchens, with everything you would expect in a modern family home. Most students will buy in food and will cook their own breakfast and evening meal.
Yes. On day 1 of the executive close protection course, there is a physical fitness assessment.
On our other courses, there are no “formal” physical exercise sessions during the course; no-one is gonna drag you outta bed at 4am to go on an 8-miler. However, the courses are physically demanding enough, that a good level of fitness is definitely required.
In addition, one of our courses includes an element of SERE training, which may cause varying degrees of discomfort. As a result, it is vital that you are both mentally and physically fit before attending that particular course.
No. We have always believed that firearms/tactics training should not be “qualification driven” and should be about training for “trainings’ sake” and not “training for a piece of paper”. However, our courses are recognized as “best practice” by a number of leading Private Security Companies (PSC) and we can, when requested, provide a Go Noisy certificate, should a PSC request it from you. We are also in the process of having our courses accredited for Continuing Personal development (CPD) purposes and certified through the Florida Education Board.
In addition, some of our courses involve medical training, delivered by Florida TEMS. On these courses, you will receive a TECC qualification, which is nationally accredited CAPCE and valid for 4 years.
We are also in the process of applying to be an ASIS approved training provider.
In Jan 2023, we will be applying for to be GI Bill Funding approved training provider.
If you do not have your own personal firearms, then you will be provided with a Glock pistol and an AR rifle, for the duration of the course.
The course has it’s own unique attendance criteria and these can be viewed by reading the course description.
