This course is for PSD teams or Military Units, as part of their pre-deployment training to hostile environments. The course also includes an integrated medical package, delivered by Florida TEMS which, at the end of, successful course participants will receive:

> NAEMT / 2nd Edition TECC student manual
> TECC Certificate / Nationally Accredited CAPCE – valid for 4 years

8 nights accommodation, 7 days lunch and all ammunition is all included in the price of the course.

course description

The course is seven, intensive, days of carefully selected tradecraft and mechanics, specifically designed to prepare you for deployments to hostile, urban environments. The course will cover numerous skills, subjects and techniques, in order to provide you with more effective, realistic and flexible tactical “response options” to situations that you may encounter when deployed.

You will be shown a number of response “options” of how to react to a contact situation, both on foot and in vehicles and you will experience the challenges of extracting under LIVE FIRING conditions, in a purpose built “Street Scene” environment, where the normal confusion, noise and communication challenges, of an urban contact, are exacerbated by your inability to physically see your other team members, which changes the entire dynamic of a team contact drill and will definitely, improve your awareness, during a contact – our British Military, Stage 4 & 5, Live Firing exercises are as close to the reality of an urban contact, as safety will allow.

You will be put through numerous “messy” hostile environment “judgement” scenarios, with difficult role playing characters, where you will be given a threat picture, and a task. Your soft-skills will be tested and you’re not-so-soft-skills will be expected to show themselves at the appropriate times, which will be for you to decide when that is. We place a lot of emphasis on scenario-based, “judgement” training, which will assess both your thought and decision making process. We wanna see how you deal with “incidents” in the way that YOU believe they should be dealt with. You will pre-brief and de-brief your team.

You will be taught our self-developed and unique “Surveillance Survey” procedure, which will show you how to identify surveillance triggers and box locations, in order to identify where a surveillance team may set up on you. The “Surveillance Survey” should be an integral part of your overall Force Protection plan.

This course can be tailored to whichever hostile environment you will be deploying to.
